Khatam hall displays magnificent handcrafts

Here is a video showcasing magnificent works of art crafted by Iranian artists all in a historic hall.

Khatam Hall in Tehran's Sa'dabad complex is home to beautiful carpets as well as wooden handcrafts decorated through Persian marquetry which is an ancient technique of inlaying and Tazhib - a type of ornamentation by painting/miniature.

The historic hall served as the office space of former Iranian dictator Reza Shah Pahlavi.

The Sa'dabad Cultural Complex is a complex built by the Qajar and Pahlavi monarchs, located in the Iranian capital.
